Additional Note to accompany the Report of the Corporate Director Resources to update the Audit Committee on progress of the Draft Statement of Accounts

Dear Members of the Audit Committee

The NYC Draft Statement of Accounts is almost complete and officers continue to finalise the statements.

The version that is presented to you at today’s meeting as Appendix D is a work in progress and the remaining elements to update are:

· Housing Revenue Account

· Group Accounts

· Harbours Disclosure Note

· Critical Judgements in applying Accounting Policies Disclosure Note

· Events after the Balance Sheet Date Disclosure Note

· Financial Instruments Disclosure Note

Officers are working to finalise the Draft Statement of Accounts in order to meet the statutory publication deadline of 30 June 2025.
